little talk with my sister

February 7, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment

little talk with my sisterYesterday, my sister and I met in the mall to have a little chat. Probably she just wants to say goodbye as she goes home to our parents today, which is miles away. Or she wants me to look after her house when she’s gone. Good thing she never mentioned that.

I immediately asked the progress of her garage flooring construction. If she will be gone for a long time, nobody will attend to that. It might not turn out the way she wants to. But, she said that she postponed the idea as she is financially tight this time of the year.

What makes her say that again? Well, that’s none of my business. Anyway, I’m off to go to play my favorite pastime games, since tomorrow is another work day. For that reason, I have to fully enjoy my Sunday.

my new pastime

my new pastimeI found a new way to entertain myself. I tried to copy wiffy’s way to cope with stress and that is playing games. I thought why not? She is having fun and she’s able to relax her mind from the everyday stresses. That is why I downloaded counter strike and car racing games. I know those are old style games others even say that is outdated. But, I don’t care since this is the only game I know how to play. Hahaha!

Now every time I arrived home from my workplace, I immediately turn on my laptop after doing some routines. Originally my intention is to do some blog work, but I spent at least 30 to one hour of playing those games I mentioned earlier. It surely makes my mind relax in which I regain energy to blog.

However, yesterday is different. Instead of playing one game, I check for the most affordable used auto parts. My friend asked me a favor that I can’t decline. And it took almost half my spare time. Good thing I instantly found everdrive site that offers huge number of used car parts. Now, I have something to say to my friend this day. Hopefully, he won’t ask me again this day as I really want to play my games. Hehehe!

benefits of water filtration

benefits of water filtrationResearch shows that drinking tap water contains over 2000 harmful chemicals. That means tap water is filled with so many toxic materials. The benefits of water filtration lie in the fact that the better water filters can remove many of these contaminants, yielding cleaner, safer, purer, better tasting water for you and your family.

That is the very reason, I want to buy water filter the soonest possible time. I want to drink water that is chlorine and bacterial contaminants free that increases the risk of rectal cancer, colon cancer, and bladder cancer. Also, filtered water protects the body from disease and leads to overall greater health.

shower head replacement need

shower head replacement needThe bathroom doesn’t only need cleaning; we also need to replace the shower head. The truth is, there is no way I can get rid of the scum that I think has been there for years. The original occupants of this place might not like to use the shower when they take a bath. Hehehe! That’s why the scum clog every holes of the shower. And it feels like the shower head has an ancient story to tell. Hehehe!

I could not imagine why they leave the shower head too dirty if they can brush it off when it is still manageable. Now the only way to use the shower is to replace the head because whenever I turn the water on, the drippings have different directions. That is a waste of water.

Of course these calls for searching faucet onsale.com. I used to visit this site when I need Kitchen Faucets before. I return to this place as they offer large number of kitchen faucets, bathroom faucets, shower and faucet accessories with great discounts in price, but no discount in quality. Without further ado, I fall in-love with FOSSA-13 Bathroom Rain Shower Head -Polished Chrome where I will be able to save 35% of its price equivalent to $13.

Now I have my choice. For sure it will look perfect in our bathroom and I will be able to shower once again. That way I can let go of our bucket and dipper system of bathing. Hehehe!

kids really enjoying the holidays

kids really enjoying the holidaysIt’s no doubt kids are enjoying the holidays especially the Christmas day. Wiffy’s little brother really finds his way to accompany his mother whenever he feels she’s going to the mall. That way he can easily asked for the toys, chocolates, and candies in pop displays at the counters. For sure he knows that his mother wouldn’t buy him that if he is not around.

But, he is annoying sometimes. He keeps on asking for almost everything he thinks he needs or even want. He has immunity from reprimand since its Christmas. However, that day is over and we are about to celebrate New Year. I don’t know if his sneaky way is still effective tomorrow during their grocery. Hehehe!
