Yesterday, wifey and I went to one of the money transfer branches to claim some money. The only problem she left her wallet at home so the teller did not let her claim because she can’t present identification. But, she already has a record on them as it was the same company she worked with for four years. Plus, she is a regular customer before where she signed a lot of files. So, she is confident that they made document scanning on all their records.
Unfortunately, they just destroy all their documents like that without making a copy. Now she has to make new file at the same company. If wifey is a low tempered woman, I am sure she will transfer to a different branch. Good thing she has a very good sense of loyalty. She asks her dad to bring her wallet to her and waited for at least an hour.
Well, the lesson I learned is that all customer files are important. So, it’s better to keep an electronic copy of it before destroying them all. That is the reason document scanning is invented.
