It’s such a nice feeling to talk to relatives whom you haven’t talked for a long time. I got a buzz from my relative abroad. She just wants to know the things that have been going around here. After a few lines, it’s her turn to do the talking. She has lots of experiences to share.

One of the most memorable according to her is when they went to a camping with friends. But, along the way the RV stops functioning and they are stranded in a foreign, isolated place. It took them a few hours before help arrives. It happened because she is not a member of rv towing services that she can call any time whenever things turn bad during the trip. She had learned her lessons and intends not to experience the frustrations again. A camping should be a fun trip, not a hassle one.

For the last few months, wiffy is inclined in cooking different kinds of food such as oriental, Mexican, and many others. She is trying to cook any kind of food that interests her. She said she is doing this for me. Although I don’t agree that much since she doesn’t have any cooking experience or any kind of training. Her mother never allowed her to touch anything kitchen related. But, she is very enthusiastic to learn so I let her do it as long as there is a recipe for her to follow.

However, she is oftentimes frustrated that some of her cooking spices are not available in the market. She has to change her menu in the mall whenever this happens. The good news is that she was able to find a site that offers all kinds of spices. Well, it’s not really good news since they don’t ship internationally only in the US area.

She is still happy to learn about the site since she learns so many things about a particular spice or seasonings. Why not? They have a list of all kinds of spices with a picture and brief definition. It’s a good learning.

She is really taking cooking seriously. I wonder what she will cook for today. Yesterday is not so good, but still acceptable and edible. I hope this time is much better.

Moving to an unfamiliar place is considered an adventure. Well, sad to say that it is a stressful kind of adventure both emotionally and mentally. Let’s admit that. There are so many things to do and so many things to consider especially when moving to another country. One way or the other, the person involved will experience culture shock. Plus, it requires different adjustments for the culture, people, place, lifestyle and so much more.
